We began talking about the Scientific Method, the roadmap a scientist uses to test real world problems. Through observations, we discovered Mrs. Schopp's pennies were really dirty. From there, we developed a question: What is the best way to clean a penny? After researching, we found a few ways: ketchup, tabasco sauce, a pencil eraser, and taco sauce. Our hypothesis was we believed the pencil eraser would work best. Today, we tested our hypothesis. We concluded that tabasco sauce cleans pennies the best. We decided it had to be because it is a liquid and has some really strong ingredients. Our hypothesis was wrong, but was a good guess.
